Breakfast is a celebration


Kickapoo Valley soil is rich and fertile. This ancient, unglaciated land is home to local organic farmers and gardeners like us. We put countless hours into nurturing the soil so that our fresh, home-grown ingredients pack a flavor punch. Simply put, the key to great-tasting food is great ingredients.

We keep a backyard flock of hens that pasture on grass and insects, which makes their eggs more tasty and healthful. Our bee-keeping neighbor supplies us with honey. His bees travel down the road to feast on nectar from our cultivated and wild flowers. We harvest wild greens and berries to add depth to our meals and keep connection to the land that sustains us.
